Sensoterra and NNNCo Partner to Bring Low-Cost Soil Moisture Monitoring to Farmers in AsiaPac

Sensoterra, leader in wireless soil moisture sensor solutions, has announced a partnership with NNNCo to empower farmers, agricultural organisations and Councils in the AsiaPac region to make data-driven land management decisions and reduce water consumption by up to 30%.

Sensoterra, leader in wireless soil moisture sensor solutions, has announced a partnership with NNNCo to empower farmers, agricultural organizations and Councils in the AsiaPac region to make data-driven land management decisions and reduce water consumption by up to 30%.

Soil moisture data has become more important to farming and council lands, such as parks and sporting grounds, as challenges with drier summers and soil health have increased over the past years. Sensoterra is already helping farmers across Europe and the US track soil moisture levels for row-crops, orchards, and soft fruits. like potatoes, alfalfa, almonds, hops, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Sensoterra soil moisture probes are available to operate on the AS923 band enabling the devices to work on LoRaWAN networks across Australia and Asia Pacific.
