Syngenta and DSM to develop and Commercialize Biological Solutions for Agriculture
Syngenta and DSM announced an R&D partnership to develop microbial-based agricultural solutions, including bio-controls, bio-pesticides and bio-stimulants. The companies aim to jointly commercialize solutions from their discovery platform.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the delivery of a broad spectrum of products based on naturally occurring micro-organisms for pre- and post-harvest application around the world. These organisms can protect crops from pests and diseases, combat resistance and enhance plant productivity and fertility.
Deere, DN2K Form Joint Venture with Focus on Decision Making Tools for Agriculture Advisers
Deere & Company and DN2K have agreed to form SageInsights - a joint venture to initially serve the agriculture industry with further development of DN2K's existing cloud software platform, MyAgCentral, for agricultural retailers and others who provide consulting services to growers.
"Through this initiative, John Deere expands its products and services for precision agriculture," said John May, President, Agricultural Solutions and Chief Information Officer at Deere. "DN2K is uniquely positioned to help advisers and consultants use information from multiple sources to better serve growers."
